Traditions. Monsters. Candy. Spooky songs. Horror movies.
How well do you really know Halloween?
This is the biggest Halloween quiz we've ever built: 170 verified questions spanning everything the holiday touches. One hundred of them cover Halloween itself — the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain where it all began, the Irish legend of Stingy Jack that gave us the jack-o'-lantern, why we knock on doors for candy, the monsters and superstitions, the songs that own every October playlist, and the way the season is celebrated from Mexico's Día de los Muertos to Japan's Shibuya crossing. The other seventy belong to a dedicated horror movie category — the Shatner mask behind Michael Myers, the Universal classics, the modern era of Get Out and Hereditary, and the quotes everybody misremembers.
Every question was checked against Wikipedia or another named source before it went in, and anything we couldn't confirm was cut rather than softened. After each answer you'll get a short verified fact — the kind of tidbit worth repeating at a Halloween party — so you leave each round knowing more than you started with. Choose a quick 10-question round, a standard 20, a deep 30, or endless mode to run the full bank, and filter to any single category when you want to specialize. When you finish, share your score and challenge your friends to beat it.
Prefer paper or a projector? The Halloween question bank and horror movie question bank list every question in themed rounds, and the free printable Halloween pack turns them into a PDF host kit or PowerPoint TV slides in about a minute.
