How well do you know the most iconic decade?
This is our deep-cut tribute to the biggest decade in pop culture: 70 verified questions spanning everything the 1980s gave us. The music that built MTV — Thriller, Purple Rain, Madonna and the hair-metal wars. The movies that invented the blockbuster summer, from E.T. and Back to the Future to the one-liners everybody still quotes. Television in its Dallas-and-Cheers prime, the news that changed the world — the Berlin Wall, the Challenger, the rise of the personal computer — plus the toys, the tech, and the sports legends from Bird-versus-Magic to the Miracle on Ice.
Every question was checked against Wikipedia or another named source before it went in, and anything we could not confirm was cut rather than softened. After each answer you get a short verified fact — the kind of detail that wins arguments at a bar — so every round teaches you something. Play a quick 10, a standard 20, a deep 30, or go endless to run the whole bank, filter to a single category when you want to specialize, and share your score to see which of your friends actually lived the decade and which just watched the retrospectives.
Want the questions on paper? The 80s question bank lists all of them with answers in themed rounds, and the free printable 80s pack turns them into a PDF host kit or PowerPoint TV slides for your own trivia night.
